Samuel Regalado
Sam is a third year MD/PhD student at the University of Washington. He is currently working on his PhD in genome sciences where his research aims to understand how mutations in coding and non-coding regions lead to disease. As a future physician-scientist, his goals are to close the health equity gap, discover new therapies, and to leverage our knowledge of the human genome to improve health outcomes. He looks forward to pursing residency and fellowship opportunities while working in medically under-served communities.
