We envision a health workforce that reflects the rich diversity of Oakland and the Bay Area, collectively working toward the eradication of health disparities by providing culturally and linguistically competent care.

MIMS serves over 450 individuals annually via its programs and training. Over 95% are from backgrounds underrepresented in the health workforce.
